Onshore Farms What is covered? Death of fish as a consequence of: Pollution, Theft and malicious acts, predators, Storm damage, subsidence, landslides, structural failure, breakage or blockage of any part of the water supply system, Drought, fire, lightning, explosion, earthquake, Freezing, frost damage, frazil ice, Mechanical breakdown or accidental damage to machinery and other installations, Electrical breakdown, failure or interruption of the electricity supply, electrocution, Deoxygenation due to vegetation, microbiological activity or high water temperature, Any other change in concentration of the normal chemical constituents of the water, including supersaturation with dissolved gases and change in pH or salinity, Disease Offshore Farms What is covered? Death of fish as a consequence of: Pollution, Theft and malicious acts, Jellyfish, Predation or physical damage by predators or other aquatic organisms (but not sea lice or other ectoparasites), Storm, lightening, tidal wave (tsunami), Collision, sudden and unforeseen structural failure of equipment, Freezing, supercooling, ice damage, Deoxygenation due to competing biological activity (bloom) or from changes in the physical or chemical conditions or the water, including upwelling and high water temperature, Any other change in concentration of the normal chemical constituents of the water including change in pH or salinity, Disease Insured Premium Rate – 6% of the total value of stock Deductible – In the event of loss 15% of the loss will be deducted from the amount of loss suffered, which is the uninsured portion of the risk.
