USAID – The Inclusive Agricultural Markets Activity (FTF IAM)
Description
Seeks to increase income and improve livelihoods of households through agriculture-led inclusive economic growth in the 38 FTF districts and 3 refugee hosting districts in Uganda. All activities focus on building partnerships with the private sector in order to achieve development outcomes.
Objectives:
1) Increasing the institutional (leadership, management, technical, adaptive etc.) capacity of government of Uganda (GoU) institutions and agencies.
2) Increasing the institutional (leadership, management, technical, adaptive etc.) capacity of private sector and CSOs.
3) Creating incentives for agro-industry and firms to respond to changes in the market system and invest in it.
